What to Expect During Your First Visit

Your first visit with Bowen Medical Group will include filling out the intake form (personal information, medical history, signing consent forms, and Insurance information if applicable).  The Physiotherapist you will be seeing will go over an in-depth history, assess the area, and develop a treatment plan based on your concerns followed by a treatment session.

  • What can you expect to be included in treatments? The techniques used in treatments differ from everybody. Treatment plans will be specific based on the patient’s short-term and long-term goals which were communicated on the first visit with the Physiotherapist. 

 

  • When should you start and how many treatments do you need? After a few days of injury or if you are suffering from chronic pain which affects your activities of daily living.
